Theme: Community in Warren County
We will be accepting submission of photographs until May 15, 2022 that embody our theme: any of the people, events, or places that really speak to what gives Warren County a sense of community. After the close of this part, our judges will select the photographs to present as writing prompts. Writers can write a short story, an essay, or any kind of poetry you like, but each submitted piece must be limited to 1,000 words or less. The deadline for composition submissions is June 24, 2022. There is no cost to enter. All ages encouraged to participate.
The Photos:
Photographers can submit up to three of their favorite pictures with the theme of community. Each photo may be a person (people), place, event, or thing but it must have a sense of community about it.
Photographs must have been taken between May 15, 2021 and May 15, 2022, within a year’s time. No older photographs will be considered. If the image does not evoke the sense of the community theme our panel of judges will not consider the photo for the contest. By submitting the photo, the photographer acknowledges having taken the photograph during the calendar year as described previously, that the photograph is their work, and they have legal rights to said photograph. Only three photographs per person. Any more will not be considered and may disqualify previous entries.
Photos can be submitted through the Submit Photos Page.
Last call for entries is May 15, 2022. Our panel of judges will select a number of photographs based on entries and a series of selection criteria. Winners will be notified.
The Written Work:
Photos will be revealed to the writers on Inspiration for Writers page with no name or description on May 30, 2022.

A writer submitting work acknowledges having written the piece and having legal rights to said piece. The work may be no more than 1,000 words. Those that exceed 1,000 words will not be considered.
